Market volume stabilized near 34 500 tons in 2021 before resuming growth, climbing to 37 391 tons in 2022 and reaching 39 860 tons by 2023.

The consistent rise in consumption was reinforced by a shift in consumer behavior, as spinach became increasingly popular in Nordic diets due to its perception as a healthy superfood, coupled with greater public attention to proper handling and storage safety.
