Key player Embutidos España expanded its presence into three new international markets during this time. By 2023-2024, the market adapted to inflation and demographic shifts, moving towards more practical individual formats such as sliced products in bags and more affordable meat types, contributing to a recovery to 519 thousand tons in 2024.
