Growth continued into 2023, climbing to 68 884 thousand units, bolstered by the opening of Autoliv's new seat belt plant in Jelcz-Laskowice, which expanded local production capacity for the Central European automotive industry.

In 2024, market volume declined to 56 015 thousand units. This occurred alongside the June implementation of new European child car seat standards (ECE R129/04), which raised safety requirements, and as Poland solidified its role as a major exporter, with significant shipments directed to markets like Germany, Spain, and the Czech Republic.
