The Greek rodenticides market contracted in volume from 3 327 tons in 2018 to 2 805 tons in 2020, with an intermediate drop to 2 545 tons in 2019. In value terms, the market fell from 19 044 thousand US dollars to 13 384 thousand US dollars over the same two years. This reduction coincided with a more than halving of domestic production, which declined from 1 366 tons to 600 tons.

The market's structure shifted noticeably as falling domestic production was offset by rising imports, which accounted for a growing share of supply. The value of imports increased significantly, from 12 285 thousand US dollars in 2018 to 17 797 thousand US dollars in 2024, suggesting changes in product mix or unit prices.
