Earlier Report Observations

The raw silk market in the MENA region saw significant fluctuation in volume between 2018 and 2023. It expanded sharply to a peak of 741.7 t in 2019, but then underwent a sustained contraction, declining to 610.0 t in 2021 and further to 460.9 t by 2023.
