From 2018 to 2023, the market volume for fresh or chilled pumpkins, squash and gourds in Barbados showed notable fluctuations. After starting at 791.7 tonnes in 2018, it dipped to 727.7 tonnes in 2019 before surging to a peak of 836.2 tonnes in 2020. The following year brought a sharp contraction, with the market shrinking to 590.7 tonnes in 2021.
