The market for plastic ornamental articles in Poland experienced considerable volatility between 2018 and 2024. Starting at 3 900 t in 2018, market volume grew to 4 310 t in 2019, then contracted to 3 676 t in 2020. A sharp rebound followed in 2021, lifting the market to 4 411 t, but subsequent years brought renewed declines to 3 665 t in 2022 and 3 212 t in 2023, before a partial recovery to 4 111 t in 2024.

These fluctuations were driven by shifts in domestic production, imports, and exports. Overall, the market displayed a pattern of peaks and troughs, with the highest volume recorded in 2021 and the lowest in 2023. The net effect over the full period was a moderate increase from 3 900 t to 4 111 t, reflecting the unstable balance between local output and trade flows.
