Kenya's peas production increased for the third consecutive year. In 2020, the country produced 74 946 tonnes of peas, marking a modest year-over-year growth of 2.5%. Over the 2017-2020 period, production surged by 199.8%, translating to an impressive compound annual growth rate of 44.2%.

From 2017 to 2020, Uganda, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom were the key export partners for Kenya's peas in volume terms.
