Zimbabwe's production of onions and shallots has grown for the second year in a row. In 2020, the country produced 181.5 thousand tonnes, marking a slight increase of 1.8% compared to 2019. The lowest production level was recorded in 2018 at 165.3 thousand tonnes, which represented the largest decline of 7.3% from the previous year. In contrast, 2019 saw the biggest increase of 7.8%.
