A reversal began in 2022 when the market grew to 146,480 kg. This expansion was driven by the July 2022 interprofessional agreement that created the Bouclier Qualité-Prix (BQP) label, promoting higher-quality meat offerings and stimulating demand for pork products.

Market volume increased further to 171,609 kg in 2023. This continued growth was supported by successive increases in pork purchase prices implemented in 2022 and at the start of 2023, a measure designed to ensure the economic sustainability of local farms against rising production costs.
