By 2022, improvements in the administrative processes for production, transport, and commercialization helped the market stabilize at 4.2 million m³.

The market volume saw a moderate decline to 4.1 million m³ in 2023. By 2024, the sector began adapting to the European Union's new regulation prohibiting imports linked to deforestation, which presents both a challenge for wood exports and an opportunity to highlight the sustainability of Bolivia's forestry management practices.
