A modest recovery to 23 990 t followed in 2022, supported by ongoing modernization of commercial infrastructure through the construction of modern markets designed to improve the sale and distribution of agricultural goods.

A sharp expansion occurred in 2023, with production jumping 43% to 34 229 t and market volume reaching 35 678 t. This surge was driven by concrete government measures to raise agricultural productivity, including fertilizer subsidies and the promotion of mechanization, which contributed to a broader increase in national cereal output.
