In 2019, the regulatory approval for specific dairy products like yogurt and curdled milk by EUROLAIT-MALI helped formalize and diversify market offerings.

Growth continued through the early 2020s, with market volume reaching 1,001 thousand tons in 2020 and 1,081 thousand tons in 2022. The announcement of a favorable agricultural campaign by the Supreme Council of Agriculture in 2021, covering livestock and dairy, provided additional momentum. The validation of the Marshall Plan 2022-2024 for agriculture, emphasizing dairy development and enhanced coordination between public actors and international partners such as FAO, further strengthened the sector.

By 2023, market volume climbed to 1,118 thousand tons. In 2024, the opening of an agro-industrial plant in Ségou with a 60,000-ton annual capacity for animal feed, aimed at boosting milk production, and the adoption of the National Response Plan 2024 focusing on food security and nutrition, underscored ongoing efforts to support the dairy industry.
