Earlier Report Observations

Over the 2018-2021 period, the Polish market for machinery and equipment for making hot drinks and cooking or heating food experienced notable volatility. Market size declined from 55 million US dollars in 2018 to 46 million in 2020 before recovering to 50 million in 2021. This contraction coincided with a halving of domestic production, which fell from 26 million to 13 million over the same two years, alongside a modest drop in imports. Exports also decreased initially, from 20 million to 17 million by 2020, but then surged to 31 million in 2021.

From 2022 to 2024, available trade data shows continued expansion. Imports grew steadily, reaching 74 million US dollars in 2022, 99 million in 2023, and 134 million in 2024. Exports exhibited even stronger growth, climbing to 50 million in 2022, 90 million in 2023, and 92 million in 2024. These trends highlight Poland's increasing role in international trade for hot drinks and food heating equipment during the latter part of the period.
