Lebanon's market for concentrated not sweetened milk and cream opened the period with notable reliance on imports, sourcing significant quantities from European countries and Argentina in 2018. This import flow contributed to a market volume of 6 173 tons that year. In 2019, imports ceased entirely, but a corresponding increase in domestic production to 6 170 tons maintained total market volume at a nearly identical level of 6 170 tons, marking a shift toward greater self-sufficiency.

The market contracted sharply in 2020, with volume falling by 8.5% to 5 645 tons. A partial recovery followed in 2021, as volume grew by 4.8% to reach 5 914 tons. For the remainder of the period through 2023, market volumes stabilized around the 5 900-ton mark, concluding at 5 828 tons with only minor fluctuations.
