The decline accelerated towards the end of the period, with market volume dropping to 19 650 t in 2023 and further to 15 073 t in 2024. By 2024, the physical volume of the market was approximately half of its 2019 peak level, indicating a sustained period of market compression.

In value terms, the market showed a different pattern, with its lowest point of 161.6 million $ US occurring in 2019. Market value subsequently recovered, reaching 253.8 million $ US in 2022, before declining again to 165.9 million $ US by the end of 2024.

The highest output was recorded in 2019 at 30 514 tonnes, with the largest increase of 23.6% occurring in 2018.

From 2017 to 2020, exports decreased by 17.5%, with an average annual decline of 6.2%. The peak export volume was recorded in 2018 at 16 882 tonnes. The sharpest decline of 21.5% occurred in 2019, while the largest increase of 29.8% was seen in 2018.
