From 2017 to 2020, China, India, and Hong Kong were the top buyers of calcareous building stone from Spain. China accounted for 52.8% of exports in kind, India for 14.3%, and Hong Kong for 12.5%. Together, these three destinations represented 79.5% of total exports in kind.

Throughout 2017 to 2020, Portugal, India, and Turkey remained the key partners for Spain's imports of calcareous building stone in kind. Portugal accounted for 32.5% of imports, India for 29.1%, and Turkey for 18.9%. Together, these three countries represented 80.6% of total import flows.
