Turkey's cabbage production grew for the second consecutive year. In 2020, the country produced 851.6 thousand tonnes of cabbages, marking a gradual increase of 3.9% from the previous year. Over the period from 2017 to 2020, production rose by 9.3%, which translates to an annualized growth rate of 3.0%. The lowest production level was recorded in 2018 at 765.3 thousand tonnes, with the largest decline of 1.7% occurring that year. In contrast, the largest increase of 7.1% was observed in 2019.

Turkey's cabbage production value increased for the third consecutive year. In 2020, the output was valued at 417.8 million US dollars, representing a 17.5% rise compared to the previous year. From 2017 to 2020, production value grew by 30.3%, with a compound annual growth rate of 9.2%.
