In 2021, the country exported 22 512 tons, which represents a 13.1% increase compared to 2020. Looking at the period from 2018 to 2021, exports rose by 24.3%, with an average annual growth rate of 7.5%. The lowest export volume was recorded in 2019 at 17 699 tons, which also saw the largest decline of 2.3% during this timeframe.

From 2018 to 2021, the main markets for Bosnia and Herzegovina's exports in kind were Croatia, Serbia, and North Macedonia. Croatia accounted for 38.7% of exports, Serbia for 22.6%, and North Macedonia for 6.7%. Together, these three countries made up 68.0% of the total export flows.
