The market for fresh or chilled beans in Central Asia showed notable fluctuations in volume between 2018 and 2023. After reaching 48 049 t in 2019, the market contracted sharply to 43 658 t in 2020. This decline marked the lowest point in the period, reflecting a significant reduction in available supply.

From 2021 onward, the bean market entered a phase of gradual recovery. Volume increased steadily each year, reaching 46 928 t by 2023. While this represented a clear rebound from the 2020 low, the market size remained below the pre-2019 levels observed at the start of the period.
