The market recovered from 2021, with production rising to 335.0 million l and the market size reaching 338.2 million l. This growth was underpinned by consistent demand from the major player Brasseries du Congo, which secures a stable outlet for output. Production continued to climb to 350.0 million l in 2022, bringing the market size back to 352.7 million l. By 2023, volumes stabilized at this level. The period saw the launch of the new alcoholic drink 'Campex', which introduced innovation and product diversification, while moderate inflation and economic growth supported overall consumption.
