Earlier Report Observations

The market for toughened safety glass in Croatia showed moderate fluctuations between 2018 and 2020. Starting at 10.7 million USD in 2018, it dipped slightly to 10.3 million USD in 2019 before recovering to 11.0 million USD in 2020.

A sharp expansion occurred in 2021, with the market value jumping by over 40% to reach 15.7 million USD. This surge was followed by a correction in 2022, bringing the market size down to 13.0 million USD.

The market then entered a phase of stabilization, hovering around 12.6 million USD in 2023 and 2024. Underlying demand was supported by ongoing urbanization and construction activity, which increased the need for safety glass in building facades and windows. Government regulations mandating its use in buildings and vehicles provided a structural boost, while technological improvements enhancing glass properties and greater consumer awareness of safety contributed to the steady market state.
