Subsequent years saw pressure from global factors: rising cotton and energy prices contributed to a dip in imports in 2022-2023, while intense price competition from Asian suppliers and raw material oversupply led to a sharp import recovery to 14 126 t in 2024. Exports mirrored this instability, dropping notably to 4 411 t in 2023 under global competitive pressure before partially rebounding.
