A reversal began in 2021, culminating in a sharp 17% contraction to 30 046 tonnes in 2022. The market partially rebounded in 2023, growing by 16% to reach 34 855 tonnes.

Throughout the period, the market was overwhelmingly supplied by domestic production, with import and export volumes remaining negligible at under 100 tonnes annually.
