Over the same period, imports showed volatility, decreasing from 489.5 tons to a low of 306.8 tons in 2020 before recovering to 540.2 tons in 2023, while domestic production remained relatively stable, peaking at 288.2 tons in 2020.

The market's recovery in 2023, with volume increasing to 401.3 tons, coincided with a rise in imports and a moderation in the rate of export growth compared to the sharp increases seen in 2021 and 2022.
