The market for peaches and nectarines in Croatia displayed considerable volatility from 2018 to 2023. Starting at 14 480 t, market volume surged by 26.7% to a peak of 18 345 t in 2019, coinciding with a sharp rise in imports and stable domestic output.

This expansion was followed by a sharp contraction in 2020, when the market fell by 23.6% to 14 014 t. After stabilizing near that level in 2021, a recovery phase began, with the market growing by 12.9% in 2022 and a further 8.1% in 2023, reaching 17 085 t.
