In value terms, the market exhibited even more pronounced swings. The market value fell from $586.8 million in 2018 to $527.1 million in 2020. It then surged dramatically, reaching $688.2 million in 2022 despite a much smaller increase in physical volume, indicating significant shifts in average prices or product composition. This peak was short-lived, as market value dropped to $562.5 million in 2023 and fell further to $494.9 million by the end of 2024.
