Austria's production of non-coniferous wood fuel increased in 2020, following two years of decline. The country produced 1 968 K m³ that year, marking a 1.2% rise from 2019. Looking at the 2017-2020 period overall, production fell by 3.3%, with an average annual decline of 1.1%. The lowest production level was recorded in 2019 at 1 945 K m³, which also saw the steepest drop of 4.0%.
