The peak was reached in 2019 at 2,076 tonnes, while the largest year-on-year increase occurred in 2018, when exports surged by 20.6%.

Between 2017 and 2020, Sweden's exports of motor vehicle lighting were distributed across multiple markets without a single dominant destination.
