The liquid egg market in Central Asia contracted significantly from 2018 to 2023, with total volume falling from 576.5 t to 413.3 t. This downward trend was consistent across the period, indicating a sustained reduction in available supply within the region.

A dramatic collapse in imports was a key component of the market's shrinkage, plunging from 87.3 t in 2018 to just 2.8 t by 2021. Domestic production also gradually declined from its 2019 peak of 506.5 t, reaching a low of 438.4 t in 2022 before a modest recovery.

The market dynamic shifted in 2023 as production rose slightly to 442.7 t and the region began exporting for the first time, shipping 40.0 t abroad. This new export activity further reduced the volume of liquid eggs remaining for domestic consumption.
