Over the same period, exports steadily declined from a high of 146 tons in 2020 to 49 tons in 2025, which increased the availability of these products within the country.

From 2021 onward, domestic production rose from 91 tons to 133 tons by 2024. This growth in local output, combined with higher import volumes and reduced exports, drove a significant expansion of the total market volume, which increased from 169 tons to 304 tons over the same four years. In value terms, the market reached 4.0 million dollars in 2024, recovering from a dip in 2022.
