Slovenia's garlic production has increased for the third consecutive year. In 2020, the country produced 1 070 tonnes of garlic, which represents a 0.9% increase compared to 2019. Between 2017 and 2020, production grew by 6.7%, translating to an average annual growth rate of 2.2%.

Exports garlic from Slovenia

Garlic exports from Slovenia have risen for the second consecutive year. In 2020, Slovenia exported 981 tonnes of garlic, marking a significant 60.9% increase year-over-year. Between 2017 and 2020, exports increased by 17.6%, with an average annual growth rate of 5.6%. The lowest export volume was recorded in 2018 at 520 tonnes, which also saw the largest decline of 37.7%.
