The Czech market for flexible plastic tubes, pipes and hoses saw substantial growth between 2020 and 2022, with volume increasing from 37 612 t to 55 800 t. This expansion was supported by continuous material innovations, including the widespread adoption of PP-RCT pipes offering better flow and durability, and the launch of new product segments such as flexible hoses for off-axis plumbing connections. At the same time, hygiene and safety considerations accelerated the replacement of metal pipes with plastic alternatives in water and sewage systems.

After peaking in 2022, market volume dropped to 45 142 t in 2023 before surging to 72 068 t in 2024. The temporary contraction coincided with a sharp rise in export activity, while the following recovery reflected strengthened domestic demand and higher production output.
