A sharp rise occurred in 2022, with market volume jumping to 53.8 thousand tons, a 69% increase from the previous year. This growth in volume, however, coincided with a contraction in market value to $234.7 million. The subsequent two years saw a market correction, with volume falling to 24.6 thousand tons in 2023 and then to 23.7 thousand tons in 2024.

Following the 2022 peak, the market stabilized in value terms at around $216 million in 2023 and 2024, even as volumes settled at a level comparable to that of 2020. This suggests shifts in product mix or pricing dynamics during the latter part of the period.
