Earlier Report Observations

The Czech market for dried shelled legumes expanded significantly from 2018 to 2022, with volume growing from 141 thousand tons to 198 thousand tons. Czechia's exports of dried shelled legumes by volume grew for the second consecutive year. In 2020, exports reached 37 347 tons, up 7.7% from the previous year. From 2017 to 2020, Germany, Slovakia, and Poland were the primary destinations for Czechia's dried shelled legumes exports by volume. Germany accounted for 53.4% of exports, Slovakia for 9.7%, and Poland for 9.5%. Together, these three markets represented 72.7% of total export flows.
