However, weakened end-market demand coupled with a significant drop in pulp production and rising energy costs led to a sharp decline in volume to 339.0 thousand tons in 2022. The market rebounded to 364.0 thousand tons in 2023 and then stabilized near 360 thousand tons in 2024.
