This rebound was supported by increased investment in research and development, which improved product quality and production efficiency, and by growing demand from advanced applications like electronics, energy storage, and additive manufacturing. In 2024, record-high copper prices and a global supply deficit further influenced procurement costs and market dynamics, while Italian firms such as Fiocchi Munizioni renewed supply agreements to strengthen their domestic presence.
