By 2024, the market was influenced by rising health awareness and disposable income, boosting demand for natural plant-based beverages like coconut water and milk. Simultaneously, extreme weather and irregular monsoon patterns in key producing countries strained coconut supplies, contributing to higher global prices for coconut oil. Several leading Asian companies also launched new cold-pressed coconut oil production lines targeting export markets, reinforcing the region's role as a key supplier.
