From 2017 to 2020, production decreased by 37.6%, averaging an annual decline of 14.5%. The peak volume was in 2018 at 4 746 kilograms, with the biggest increase that year at 6.7%.

After two years of growth, Croatia's exports of carbonates and percarbonates declined. In 2020, exports totaled 3 796 tonnes, down 21.9% from 2019. Over the 2017-2020 period, exports increased by 3.3%, with a compound annual growth rate of 1.1%. The highest export volume was in 2019 at 4 858 tonnes, and the largest increase occurred in 2018 at 17.3%.

From 2017 to 2020, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia were consistently the main destinations for Croatia's exports in kind. Germany accounted for 42.1% of exports, Bosnia and Herzegovina for 34.5%, and Slovenia for 14.0%. Together, these three countries made up 90.6% of total export flows.
