In contrast, 2019 experienced the most significant decline of 27.2%.

Between 2017 and 2020, New Zealand, Australia, and the United States consistently led Melanesia's export structure in terms of volume. New Zealand accounted for 26.4% of exports, Australia for 21.6%, and the United States for 20.8%. Together, these three countries represented 68.9% of total export flows.
