The largest decline occurred in 2019, when production fell by 7.0%. The highest value was recorded in 2018 at 775.9 million US dollars, which represented the largest increase of 7.7%.

From 2017 to 2020, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy were the principal destinations for Austria's beef and buffalo meat exports in volume terms.
