This was primarily due to a sharp decline in domestic production, which dropped by around 17 000 t, and a drastic reduction in imports, which fell by nearly 80% over the period.

After stabilizing in 2022 with only a minor decrease, the market rebounded in 2023. Production increased by over 5 000 t, and imports nearly doubled, leading to a market volume of 49 133 t, a 19% rise from the previous year.
