Global ECO Green to begin apple intake in Kyrgyzstan on October 1
Global ECO Green will begin accepting apples for industrial processing in Kyrgyzstan on October 1. The plant can process up to 45,000 tonnes of fruit and produce up to 7,000 tonnes of apple concentrate per season.
Industrial outlet for lower-grade apples
Global ECO Green will begin accepting apples for industrial processing in Kyrgyzstan on October 1, according to 24.kg and Kaktus.media. The company will buy fruit that cannot be sold on the fresh market, including fallen, lower-grade and irregularly sized apples. The new outlet gives growers an alternative for crops that might otherwise remain unsold or be unsuitable for storage.
The plant is being launched in the Ala-Buka district of the Jalal-Abad region. Global ECO Green is seeking supplies from the Jalal-Abad, Osh, Chuy and Issyk-Kul regions and says it is prepared to work with farms of different sizes. Kaktus.media reported that potential suppliers include private households, farmers, horticultural cooperatives, agricultural enterprises and produce aggregators, as well as large commercial suppliers.
Capacity of 45,000 tonnes per season
The facility is designed to process up to 45,000 tonnes of apples during one season and manufacture up to 7,000 tonnes of finished apple concentrate. Those figures imply that the plant could provide a substantial seasonal destination for fruit outside the fresh produce channel, although the sources did not disclose expected first-season utilization, procurement prices or the volume already contracted.
Production will cover the full processing cycle at the Kyrgyz site. Apples will be received, washed and sorted before crushing and pressing. The extracted juice will then pass through filtration, evaporation and pasteurization, followed by aseptic packaging. The resulting product will be natural clarified apple concentrate made from locally sourced fruit.
Exports planned across Eurasia and Europe
Global ECO Green plans to sell the concentrate both domestically and abroad. Target export destinations named by the company include Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia and European countries. The sources did not specify individual European markets, prospective buyers, shipment schedules or planned export volumes.
For Kyrgyz growers, the project adds a buyer for fruit that does not meet fresh-market specifications and broadens the range of farms able to participate in industrial supply chains. For the processor, securing enough apples across four producing regions will be important if it is to approach its seasonal capacity. The plant also keeps the entire conversion process—from receiving fruit to aseptic packing—inside Kyrgyzstan, allowing locally grown apples to reach domestic and foreign beverage and food manufacturers in concentrated form.
