Indonesia Approves Extra Coal Quota for State Utility PLN to Avert Power Shortages

Jakarta Secures Coal Supply for State Utility

He pointed to upgrades at the Suralaya 6 and 7 generating units, which can now run on coal with a calorific value of roughly 4,100-4,300 kilocalories per kilogram, down from an original requirement of 4,600-4,800 kilocalories per kilogram.
